For generations, Hungary’s Molnar family has been renowned as expert
herbalists. Aunt Ilcsi Molnar, the founder and developer of Ilcsi
Hungary (in the Middle-East region Ilcsi has been renamed to “Elche” for
easier pronunciation and it also carries the name of the first organic
ladies beauty salon in Jumeirah, Dubai), inherited the family’s
expertise with plant-life and natural remedies and went on to study
biochemistry, thus combining her traditional expertise with modern
scientific techniques to extract the highest level of benefits from
natural herbs and fruits.
Now, more than 45 years after she first marketed the Elche range of
therapies, tens of thousands of women have enjoyed her handiwork and
praise the results that it confers.
All the ingredients in more than 100 Elche essentials are handpicked and
hand-mixed by trained herbalists. The role of science is to ensure that
the products maintain their freshness and potency – without using
preservatives or artificial additives.
After harvest, the ingredients are stored in temperature-controlled
conditions for four months, during which time all traces of bacteria die
off. They are then blended with a rare and completely unique water
source from a subterranean thermal lake created thousands of years ago
by an earthquake along with sedimentary deposits from the same source
containing minerals and trace elements found nowhere else on earth.
Its mineral salts and trace elements produce rare and unique
ingredients, and the 9.5 pH level proved soothing and good for dry skin.
The layers of earth through which this water emerged also provided rich
ingredients that had been fermented, heated, and preserved for
centuries. Aunt Ilcsi Molnar still hand-formulates Elche products with
the water, mud and algae from this completely unique vitamin and mineral
source.
The seeds, fruit pulp, and herbs retain their health-giving properties
and after application immediately begin to produce amazing results as
their regenerative powers take effect.
Modern Science
Years of scientific training support Elche’s

questionnaire and a detailed assessment of skin

The Range of Products
The Elche salon in Jumeirah applies more than 80
different products – exfoliates, peelings, scrubs,
fruit enzyme peelings, liposomic gels, soothing
gels, massage creams, firming and peel-off masks,
eye mask, oils and creams. About half are
recommended for home treatment – cleansing milks,
soaps, tonics, moisturizing, hydrating, smoothing
creams, gels, serums, corrector, eye creams, body
soaps and lotions, suntan products, hand-feet and
cellulite creams.
In addition, a special product range has been
developed exclusively for Dubai to help best cope
with the prevailing harsh climate and protect the
skin against the severe extremes of heat, sunlight
and aridity.
Treatment Options
All Elche products are 100 per cent organic
plant-life with no preservatives, artificial
additives, animal by-products, or collagen. Elche is
allergy-tested but animals are never used in testing
procedures.
Elche stands for personalized skincare and offers
facials for problematic skins that are inflamed and
sensitive. Hydrating, cleansing, detoxifying, skin
tightening, detoxifying facials and pigmentation
therapy are carried out by highly skilled and
qualified experts with many years experience in
their field.
Elche treatments are also applicable for eye care,
décolletage enhancement, improving breast tone,
cellulite dispersal and skin lightening. Each client
is treated individually in a private room, but
double treatments can be booked by friends who would

A few words from Aunt Ilcsi
For more than 40 years I have worked as a beautician
in Hungary, where beauty education is of the highest
standard in the world. To become an independent
beautician, a two-year vocational training school
has to be attended after graduating from high
school. Then comes three years as a trainee beauty
therapist, and finally a master’s examination must
be passed.
We also learned to make our own treatments, using
the natural ingredients available. Herbs, flowers,
vegetables, fruits, spa water and mud from hot
springs served as active ingredients.
Since I came from the countryside and – my
great-grandmother was the herbal healer of our
village – I was very interested in herbs and began
to learn about them and use them for the last 50
years. I learnt how herbs could be made more
effective by mixing it with other herbs, so that it
can provide the best solution for skin problems.
Our laboratory is a family enterprise, which I
manage with my son Ferenc Molnar, who is my best
pupil, colleague, and the director of the company.
Ilcsi Beautifying Herbs Hungary was formed in 1984
and prepares professional products exclusively for
beauticians. We have created the face creams, masks,
oils, peelings, gels etc. by using about 65-70
different herbs that we collect and grow ourselves
and process by a special procedure, as a result of
which they keep their effectiveness.
